AI/ML Engineer

Job Description

Responsible for consulting on and participating in moderately complex initiatives and deliverables within Software Engineering; contribute to large-scale planning related to Software Engineering deliverables; review and analyze moderately complex Software Engineering challenges that require an in-depth evaluation of variable factors; utilize Python, Large Language Models, Generative AI (GenAI), Google Cloud Platform, Java, React, Angular, and Azure AI to perform duties; contribute to the resolution of moderately complex issues and consult with others to meet Software Engineering deliverables while leveraging solid understanding of the function, policies, procedures, and compliance requirements; and collaborate with client personnel in Software Engineering.

Location: Detroit, MI and various unanticipated worksites throughout the US;

Salary: $149,646 per year;

Education: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, or in a related field of study (will accept equivalent foreign degree);

Experience: One (1) year in the position above, as an AI Engineer, as a Full Stack Java Developer, as an IT Administrator, as a Java Developer, as a Project Manager, as a Software Application Developer, as a Software Developer, or in a related occupation;

Will accept three (3) years in the position above, as an AI Engineer, as a Full Stack Java Developer, as an IT Administrator, as a Java Developer, as a Project Manager, as a Software Application Developer, as a Software Developer, or in a related occupation in lieu of the primary education and experience requirements;

Other Requirements: Experience must include one (1) year's use of all the following: Python, Large Language Models, Generative AI (GenAI), Google Cloud Platform, Java, React, Angular, and Azure AI.

Will also accept any suitable combination of education, training, and/or experience.
