Schedule:

• 10-hour day shifts, weekdays (7:30 am – 6:00 pm), set according to unit needs
• No on-call, weekends, or holiday shifts required

Key Responsibilities:

• Independently manage postoperative and post-procedural patient care, evaluating responses to interventions and ensuring optimal pain management in line with ASPAN standards
• Anticipate patient needs based on an understanding of specific procedures and pathophysiology
• Adhere to detailed facility protocols and policies while supporting high-quality patient outcomes
• Work efficiently in a fast-paced surgical setting, taking initiative and adapting quickly as patient and unit needs evolve

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum 3 years’ recent, full-time experience as a Perioperative Care Center RN in a high-volume hospital
• Demonstrated expertise in postoperative/post-procedure care in PACU environments
• Active BLS and ALS certifications
• Strong references from recent perioperative roles
• Ability to transition seamlessly into the unit, operating with confidence and autonomy
