You’ll spend most of your time in‑market—meeting with agency partners, increasing submission flow, and shaping a high‑quality book of business aligned to GUARD’s underwriting appetite. How You’ll Make an Impact Grow premium profitably by increasing submission flow from key agency partners Build and deepen agency relationships through consistent, in‑person engagement Identify underperforming and high‑potential agencies and adjust your territory strategy accordingly Partner closely with underwriting and distribution leadership to align on appetite, pricing, and growth targets Use data (agency performance, market trends, competitor activity) to prioritize where to spend time and resources Execute a disciplined sales approach—tracking activity, pipeline, and results against defined goals Qualifications What You'll Bring 3+ years interritory management, production underwriting, or broker distribution Proven success growing a profitable book of business through agency relationships Strong knowledge of commercial P&C (Workers’ Comp, BOP, Auto, Umbrella) Familiarity with the MA market and agency landscape Comfortable using data and metrics to drive decisions and performance Clear communicator who can represent the company effectively in the field What to Expect High travel role — regular in‑person agency visits across your territory Autonomy to own your territory strategy and results Close partnership with underwriting, distribution, and leadership teams Tools & Extras Excel required; Power BI a plus Bachelor’s degree preferred This position is subject to background screening, which may include drug testing and motor vehicle record review for roles involving driving. Salary Range $105,000-$130,000USD + performance‑based bonus potential and use of a company car In accordance with applicable pay transparency laws, this range represents a good‑faith estimate.
