Responsibilities
- Provide direct, compassionate nursing care for adults in a cardiac-focused PCU/IMCU with telemetry beds
- Monitor hemodynamics and telemetry, administer medications, and manage cardiac drips per protocol (Milrinone, Dobutamine) and vasopressors
- Recognize and respond to acute cardiovascular events (STEMI/NSTEMI); coordinate with the team to expedite assessments and interventions
- Collaborate with physicians, unit leadership, and interprofessional staff on care planning, admissions, transfers, and discharges
- Maintain accurate documentation of assessments, interventions, and patient responses; ensure compliance with safety and infection control standards
- Ensure BLS/ACLS current certification; assist with patient and family education as appropriate

Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse license in Georgia (or eligible for licensure in Georgia)
- BLS and ACLS certification required
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar-sized facility or unit (PCU/IMCU or stepdown/telemetry) with a cardiac population
- Experience with cardiac monitoring and cardiac pharmacology, including drips (Milrinone, Dobutamine) and vasopressors
- Ability to work in a hybrid unit with higher-acuity cardiac patients and telemetry beds
- Strong assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills
