Responsibilities
- Perform adult echocardiography studies and related ultrasound examinations as assigned, prioritizing image quality and patient safety.
- Prepare patients, explain procedures, position the patient, monitor for comfort and safety, and follow lab protocols.
- Operate and maintain ultrasound equipment; adjust technical settings to optimize 2D/3D imaging as appropriate.
- Acquire and document imaging and measurements; input results into the EPIC EMR system per department guidelines.
- Collaborate with cardiology, nursing, and other care teams; communicate findings and any concerns promptly.
- Ensure adherence to infection control, equipment sanitation, and standard safety practices.
- May float to an outpatient facility and participate in call as required; care for IP, OP, and ICU patient populations.

Requirements
- ARDCS certification (ARDMS or CCI) or equivalent ultrasound certification verification
- BLS certification (AHA) and EKG recognition
- Minimum 2 years of ultrasound experience, with adult echocardiography experience preferred
- EPIC EMR experience within the past 2 years
- Ability to work in an adult echo lab serving IP, OP, and ICU populations; eligible to work in Burlington, VT
