Real Estate Associate

A highly regarded New York law firm is seeking a Real Estate Associate with 2-5 years of commercial real estate experience, with a particular focus on commercial leasing. This is an excellent opportunity to join a collaborative and growing real estate practice advising sophisticated clients on a broad range of high-value transactions. The Role You'll work closely with experienced partners representing lenders, borrowers, developers, investors and owners on a variety of commercial real estate matters, with a strong emphasis on leasing transactions. Key Responsibilities Draft, review and negotiate commercial office, retail and industrial leases. Advise clients on lease amendments, assignments, subleases and related agreements. Assist with acquisitions, dispositions and financing transactions as they relate to leasing matters. Conduct due diligence and manage transactions from inception through closing. Collaborate directly with clients and opposing counsel while taking on meaningful responsibility from day one. What We're Looking For Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school. Admission to the New York Bar. 2-5 years of commercial real estate transactional experience at a law firm. Strong experience drafting and negotiating commercial leases. Excellent drafting, negotiation and communication skills. What's on Offer Base salary of $200,000 - $300,000 , dependent on experience. Competitive bonus structure.
