Job Summary

We are seeking a Paint Prep Assembler to support manufacturing operations by preparing products and components for industrial spray painting. This role is responsible for cleaning, masking, sanding, assembling, and inspecting parts to ensure surfaces meet quality standards prior to the painting process. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, safety-focused, and comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare parts and components for industrial spray painting by cleaning, sanding, masking, and assembling materials.
• Inspect surfaces to ensure they are free of defects and ready for painting.
• Assist painters with staging, handling, and positioning products throughout the painting process.
• Assemble and disassemble components as required before and after painting.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area while following company safety procedures.
• Handle materials and finished products carefully to prevent damage.
• Perform quality checks to ensure products meet manufacturing specifications.
• Operate basic hand tools and equipment used in paint preparation and assembly.
• Support production schedules by completing assigned tasks accurately and efficiently.
• Perform additional production and assembly duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

• 1–3 years of manufacturing, assembly, paint preparation, or production experience.
• Ability to use hand tools and follow written work instructions.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to lift, carry, and move materials as required.
• Commitment to workplace safety and quality standards.

Work Environment

• Manufacturing facility with exposure to paint preparation and production processes.
• Standard work schedule.
• Requires standing, bending, lifting, and repetitive movement throughout the shift.
