Warehouse Assistant II

Essential Functions

• Assisting in the unloading, sorting, processing inbound goods receipts
• Performing labeling, stocking, and put-away activities
• Parts selection, order assembly, and delivery directly to shipping area
• Order pulling, parts kitting and delivery directly to production areas
• Maintaining and replenishing point-of-use storage locations
• Practicing excellent housekeeping, organization and safe handling practices
• Assist in inventory discrepancy investigations
• Scheduled rotation and operation in either Shipping or Receiving Departments
• Active participation in special projects and assignments
• Maintains high quality service by strictly following organizational procedures and standards
• Completes all necessary paperwork, and processes systems transactions in a timely and highly accurate manner
• Demonstrates a strong desire to ensure compliance to required dates and proactively resolves potential roadblocks and concerns that risk noncompliance to date requirements
• Maintains safe and clean work environment by keeping shelves, pallet area, and workstations neat and well organized
• Maintains effective and safe materials storage requirements by continually sorting, segregating, cleaning, organizing and protecting goods in storage locations
• Compiles with all procedures, rules, and regulations for the safe and effective handling and storage of inventory including compliance to appropriate PPE and ESD handling procedures
• Work effectively and efficiently in a cooperative team environment
• Must be positive, flexible, willing and able to assist in all materials handling functions
• Must communicate effectively to provide solutions to internal Customers in downstream, dependent processes
• Performs other duties as assigned

Open to Senior Warehouse Assistant position as well, pending direct experience. Pay Range up to $24.98

Qualifications

Education

Required: High School or better.

Experience

Required: A minimum of three years of experience in shipping, receiving, inventory management, material handling or order fulfillment preferred.
