About the Role
The Company is seeking an Executive Director of Catering Sales and Development to lead the sales strategy for its luxury catering and events division. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing business development, client relationships, and high-performing sales initiatives across multiple exclusive event venues. This executive leadership role demands a proven hospitality sales professional with a track record of driving revenue growth, cultivating long-term client partnerships, and leading teams in a luxury catering, hotel, or event environment. The Executive Director will be tasked with developing and executing strategic sales and business development initiatives, leading and coaching the catering sales team, and building and maintaining relationships with corporate clients, event planners, and strategic partners. Applicants must have a minimum of 10 years' progressive leadership experience in luxury catering, hospitality, event sales, or boutique hotel sales, with a strong background in business development, strategic partnerships, and key account management. The role requires exceptional leadership, negotiation, presentation, financial analysis, and relationship-building skills. The ideal candidate will have experience managing complex, high-end corporate and social events from contract through execution and an established network in the Greater Boston area. Responsibilities also include collaborating with operations, marketing, and finance to ensure exceptional client experiences, accurate forecasting, and profitable event execution, as well as overseeing sales reporting, pipeline management, marketing initiatives, contract negotiations, and continuous process improvements to maximize profitability and client satisfaction.
