Full-Time Physical Therapist

Position Overview This role involves providing objective assessments and developing individualized treatment programs for adult and geriatric patients in a physical therapy setting. The therapist supervises patients directly, oversees rehabilitation technicians indirectly, and manages PT assistants in accordance with state practice acts, all while aligning with departmental policies and organizational standards. Key Responsibilities Perform comprehensive assessments and create tailored treatment plans. Supervise and direct patient care, ensuring safety and quality standards. Oversee rehabilitation staff, including technicians and PT assistants. Adhere to departmental policies, standards of treatment, and organizational mission. Qualifications & Skills Educational requirement: Bachelor’s, Master of Science, or Doctor of Physical Therapy. Current or temporary Physical Therapy license in the practice state. CPR/BLS certification (current before independent patient care). Preferred experience: 6 months to 1 year in rehabilitation, especially with adult and geriatric populations. Physical ability to lift 50 lbs, stand, walk, and perform various movements essential for patient care.
