Exciting Opportunity for Travel RN - Med/Surg/Rehab!

Job Description:


- Shift: 7P - 7A
- Unit Information:
- Type: Rehab Unit
- Location: 4th floor, Acute Rehab
- Number of Beds: 27
- Staffing: 43 dedicated professionals including RNs, PCTs, Nurse externs, Social Workers, and Patient coordinators
- Night Shift Staff: 1 Charge RN, 4 RNs, and 1.5 CNAs
- Patient Ratios: 5:1


- Required Skills:
- Minimum 1-year current Med/Surg or Rehabilitation RN experience
- BLS certification needed

- Preferred Experience:
- Background in rehab nursing or orthopedic
- Experience in neuro or trauma nursing

- Typical Procedures:
- Medication administration (mostly PO, some IV)
- Safe patient ambulation and toileting
- High-quality charting
- Central line dressing changes
- Catheter care and peri-care
- Wound care and wet to dry dressing changes
- Wound vac management
- Blood administration and pain management
- Neuro checks and stroke-rehabilitation care
- Vital signs monitoring, blood sugar checks, and telemetry
