Plastic Surgeon With Expertise In Mohs RepairWe are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Plastic Surgeon with expertise in Mohs repair to join our team. We are a growing privately owned practice located in Oregon and Washington states. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing reconstructive surgeries on patients who have undergone Mohs micrographic surgery for skin cancer removal. This position requires a strong commitment to patient care, excellent surgical skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team.Responsibilities:Perform reconstructive surgeries on patients who have undergone Mohs micrographic surgery for skin cancer removalEvaluate patients' medical histories and conduct physical examinations to determine the appropriate surgical approachCollaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including dermatologists, oncologists, and other healthcare professionals, to develop comprehensive treatment plans for patientsEducate patients and their families about the surgical process, potential risks, and expected outcomesMaintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including surgical notes and post-operative care instructionsParticipate in continuing education and professional development opportunities to stay current with the latest advancements in plastic surgery and Mohs repair techniquesRequirements:Medical degree from an accredited institutionBoard certification in Plastic SurgeryFellowship training in Mohs repair or extensive experience in reconstructive surgery following Mohs micrographic surgeryStrong surgical skills and a commitment to providing the highest level of patient careExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary teamPreferred Qualifications:Experience in cosmetic and reconstructive procedures beyond Mohs repairActive participation in professional organizations and conferences related to plastic surgery and Mohs repairA track record of research and publications in the field of plastic surgery and Mohs repairTo apply, please submit your CV, a cover letter detailing your experience and interest in the position, and contact information for three professional references.
