• Patient Ratio: Typically 4:1
• Unit Size: 68 beds
• Required Certifications: AHA BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC; NIHSS required before start
• Experience: 1 year in a Level I ED or 2 years in a Level II trauma ED
• Preferred: Trauma, pediatrics, high-acuity experience, and experience with 200+ patients daily
• Call: None
• Floating: None
• Scrubs: Black

Important Requirements:

• No block scheduling.
• Must indicate guaranteed hours (36 or 48) and all contingency requests on submission.
• Night-shift orientation takes place on days; must be available for the entire orientation week.
• RTO is not allowed during the first week and must be made up at the end of the assignment.
• Only one holiday RTO request per assignment.
• Flu vaccination or Mercy-approved exemption required November 1–April 1; declinations are not accepted.
