About the Role
The Company is seeking an Interim Senior Counsel to provide senior-level legal support across its various financial services operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for advising on legal risks and providing practical guidance for new products, partnerships, and growth initiatives. This role requires a strong focus on lending products and services, with an emphasis on understanding the legal and regulatory frameworks governing lending operations. The Interim Senior Counsel will also be involved in drafting, negotiating, and managing a wide range of commercial agreements, as well as supporting contract lifecycle processes and developing templates to enhance efficiency. Applicants for the Interim Senior Counsel position should have a minimum of 5 years' experience in supporting financial services organizations, particularly in the area of lending. The role demands a professional with a solid background in legal and regulatory compliance, the ability to conduct legal research and regulatory analysis, and experience in assisting with regulatory change management and risk assessments. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical, research, and writing skills, and be adept at translating complex legal issues into practical business guidance.
