Delivery Assistant
Express Employment Professionals is hiring a Delivery Assistant for a local client!
Are you dependable, customer-focused, and comfortable with physical work? We are seeking a Delivery Assistant to support a busy local company with deliveries, material handling, and customer service. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys variety in their workday and wants the potential to grow into installation-related responsibilities.
Pay: $18.00 per hour Schedule: Monday-Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM
Job Responsibilities
- Assist drivers with deliveries to residential and commercial customers
- Load and unload materials safely and efficiently
- Provide excellent customer service during deliveries and customer interactions
- Ensure materials are handled with care to prevent damage
- Help maintain an organized and clean delivery vehicle and work area
- Support the delivery team with multiple deliveries on busy days
- Assist with other warehouse and material handling duties as needed
- Potential opportunity to learn and assist with installations in the future
Qualifications
- Ability to lift and carry heavy materials on a regular basis
- Comfortable loading and unloading products throughout the day
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Dependable, punctual, and team-oriented
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing workloads
- Previous delivery, warehouse, moving, or labor experience is helpful but not required
