Payroll Manager
Revolution Medicines
Revolution Medicines seeks a Payroll Manager to oversee full-cycle US payroll operations and lead a team of payroll professionals. The role requires deep expertise in public company payroll, equity compensation, SOX compliance, and ADP systems in a fast-growing oncology company.
Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle US payroll processing including semi-monthly, equity, commission, and bonus payments
- Support equity compensation processing for RSU, ISO, Non-Qual, and ESPP with accurate tax treatment
- Supervise and mentor payroll team members with leadership and professional development
- Lead quarter-end and year-end payroll processes including tax reporting and compliance filings
- Oversee SOX, internal, and external audit compliance and payroll-related controls
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or related field
- 10+ years progressive payroll experience with 3+ years in leadership role
- Public company experience with strong SOX, audit, and compliance knowledge
- Hands-on expertise with ADP Workforce Now payroll system
- Proven track record training and developing high-performing payroll teams
- Ability to work independently with strong attention to detail and confidentiality protection
- Pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry experience preferred
