Maintenance Generalist (MG01) – Blend Mill Operations Maintenance Generalist Starting Pay: $22.00/hr Position Summary The Maintenance Generalist (MG01) is an entry‑level maintenance position responsible for performing preventive maintenance and assisting in maintaining and repairing equipment and company assets. The role ensures a safe work environment and adheres to Tyson Foods’ policies and procedures. Responsibilities Assemble and disassemble equipment. Maintain housekeeping standards. Operate and maintain mobile equipment. Follow Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures. Perform preventive maintenance on all equipment. Engage in physical activities such as climbing, standing, bending, sitting, and carrying/pushing/pulling up to 70 lbs multiple times monthly. Work in varying temperature conditions—both hot and cold. Work overtime and weekends as needed. Work at heights when required. Qualifications Up to six months of experience in industrial or manufacturing maintenance; agriculture milling experience preferred. Valid driver’s license. Basic computer skills for training purposes. Ability to obtain and retain PIT certification. Willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation.
