Specific Duties Assist classroom teacher in providing developmentally appropriate activities for students, implementing concrete learning activities for students with and without special needs, including ELL students. Assist classroom teacher in getting students into and out of the buildings and classrooms, including lifting and carrying of students. Assist teacher during activities such as field trips and emergency drills. Assist teacher with classroom routines such as snack, washing dishes, clean-up, bathroom and other similar activities. Assist teacher in maintaining a healthy and safe environment for children and perform tasks and responsibilities assigned by the building principal. For HEALTH positions only: feeding, changing diapers, and toileting children. Requirements Successfully passed the Paraprofessional test, OR 48 college credits or more, OR a Bachelor's Degree (preferred). Experience with the appropriate age group.
