Registered Nurse - Neuro Critical Care - Per Diem Nights

The Registered Nurse in Neuro Critical Care provides direct care to complex patients, focusing on assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care. About This Role Highlights Location: Edison, NJ Facility: Hackensack Meridian Health Schedule: Per Diem, Night What You'll Do Collect comprehensive data pertinent to the patient's health or situation. Perform age and disease specific assessment/data collection independently. Recognize clinical and diagnostic status changes in patient status. Identify variables in patient/family education needs based on age and disease. Develop a plan of care that prescribes strategies and interventions. Communicate, coordinate, and implement the plan of care. Provide ongoing communication with patient/family and healthcare team. Implement age and disease specific care in an organized manner. Perform continuous Point-of-Care electronic documentation. Administer medications utilizing advancements in bar-scanning technology. Requirements Education: Associate in Nursing or diploma of Nursing degree required. BSN in progress and/or willing to acquire within three years of hire. Experience: Six months of relevant nursing experience or participation in Nurse Residency Program. Licenses & Certifications: Current and valid Registered Nurse license in New Jersey.
