Travel RN Operating Room (OR)

Location: Ocala, FL

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM

Job Description: We are seeking a skilled Travel RN for the Operating Room department to join our team. This role involves providing quality care to patients undergoing surgical procedures in a dynamic healthcare environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assessing patient needs, coordinating care, and collaborating with surgical teams to ensure optimal outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Perform pre-operative assessments and prepare patients for surgery.
• Assist in surgical procedures by providing support to the surgical team.
• Monitor patient vital signs and manage anesthesia as required.
• Ensure a sterile environment and maintain proper protocols.
• Educate patients and families about post-operative care and recovery.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current RN license in the state of Florida.
• Experience in the Operating Room required.
• BLS and ACLS certifications.
• 1-2 years of acute care experience preferred.
