Active Georgia or compact license at time of submission.
AHA BLS certification.
Previous travel experience is strongly preferred.


Description:
This unit sees a wide variety of MedSurg patients.
Patient types include Med-Surg, Sickle Cell, heart failure, vascular issues, pulmonary conditions, diabetes, and failure to thrive.
Nurse to patient ratios are 5-6 to 1.
Candidates should have broad MedSurg experience.
Weekend requirement is a minimum of six weekend shifts per 12 weeks, with shifts on Saturday and Sunday.
The weekend shifts may or may not be together.
The manager is looking for dedicated MedSurg professionals.
Candidates should have proficiency in handling diverse MedSurg conditions.
No guaranteed blocked scheduling is offered.
Charting is done using MEDITECH.
Nursing Aides are available on the unit with a 12:1 ratio.
Respiratory therapy equipment includes nasal and face masks and BiPAP.
Cancellation policy is 24 hours per 13 weeks.
Trauma level of the facility is 3.
Care setting is acute.
