St. Louis Park, MN – Certified Surgical Tech (OR | 10-Hour Shifts | No Call)

Quick Glance:

• Schedule: 10-hour shifts (days/evenings; variable start times)
• Shift Times: 7:00 AM, 9:00 AM, 11:00 AM, 1:00 PM, or 3:00 PM starts
• Call: None
• Weekend Requirement: As needed
• Assignment Length: 8 weeks
• Setting: Operating Room (OR)
• Experience: 2+ years recent CST experience required
• Charting System: EPIC

Scope of Role:

• Support surgical teams in a fast-paced operating room environment
• Scrub and assist in a wide range of surgical procedures
• Ensure sterile technique and maintain surgical field integrity throughout cases

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare operating rooms, instruments, and sterile supplies for procedures
• Scrub and assist surgeons during operative cases
• Anticipate surgeon needs and maintain efficient workflow
• Handle instrumentation for general, orthopedic, and specialty procedures
• Maintain sterile technique and adhere to infection control standards
• Assist with room turnover and supply management
• Document procedures and support workflow in EPIC

Must-Have Credentials:

• Active CST certification (NBSTSA or NCCT)
• Minimum 2 years of recent Operating Room experience
• Experience with EPIC EMR

Required Experience:

• General surgical procedures
• DaVinci robotic cases

Preferred Experience:

• Orthopedics (totals and trauma)
• Neuro
• Peripheral vascular
• Cardiovascular procedures

Work Environment:

• High-volume OR with diverse case mix
• Collaborative surgical team environment
• Floating may be required within OR as needed

Additional Details:

• No on-call requirement
• Weekend and holiday shifts as needed
• Maximum of 7 days RTO allowed
• Submission requires resume, active certifications, skills checklist, and prescreen
