Contract | 13 Weeks | Days | 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00 AM – 7:30 PM) | 36 Hours Guaranteed Weekly | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a blended ICU/CVICU setting with a 1:2 patient ratio serving adult and geriatric populations
• Manage and treat complex diagnoses including STEMI, NSTEMI, CABG, valve repair/replacement, sepsis, acute respiratory failure, stroke, trauma, COPD exacerbation, and CRRT
• Operate Baxter pumps and document care using the Medhost EHR system
• Float to the Intermediate Care Unit as primary RN and provide coverage for admitted patients holding in the ED on an as-needed basis
• Adhere to facility attendance policy; travelers are permitted one call-out per contract with any additional absences requiring documentation and case-by-case review
• Maintain BLS, ACLS, and NIH Stroke Scale certifications throughout the duration of the assignment

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license
• CVICU experience required
• Minimum 2 years of ICU nursing experience
• Prior travel nursing experience required
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NIH Stroke Scale certifications required
• Must reside at least 60 miles from the facility to be eligible for travel rates

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with CRRT, TCAR, and TVAR procedures
• Familiarity with Medhost EHR
• Experience in a Level III Trauma or regional referral center environment
