Schedule: Monday–Thursday | 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Pay: $17–$19/hr (based on experience)

Position Overview
This role is responsible for verifying insurance coverage, confirming authorizations, and coordinating scheduling to ensure smooth daily operations. The ideal candidate is highly organized, comfortable working with patients and insurance systems, and able to manage multiple priorities with accuracy and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Verify patient insurance coverage using online insurance portals
• Confirm authorizations are in place for scheduled procedures
• Assist with scheduling and coordinating patient appointments
• Communicate with patients regarding insurance and scheduling details
• Prepare and send pre-payment invoices for upcoming procedures
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
• Collaborate with clinical and administrative teams to support workflow

Qualifications

• Prior insurance verification experience required
• Strong knowledge of insurance portals and eligibility verification systems
• Experience with medical scheduling preferred
• Familiarity with prior authorizations for procedures is a plus
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
• Medical office or healthcare experience strongly preferred
