Business Analyst

Business AnalystThe Business Analyst (BA) is responsible for working with the business to gather and document requirements for new product features and solutions. The BA is able to rapidly grasp and accurately articulate business processes, user stories, QA requirements and test scenarios. They will also have a strong background in data management, including data flows, data mapping and data manipulation. Experience in using standard Agile software delivery tools, such as Jira, is vital. The BA acts as the curator of the product backlog and leads project stakeholders through the entire delivery process, from requirements gathering to deployment. The BA is the bridge between the business and technology, working with internal and external suppliers to define solutions and acceptance criteria.Responsibilities:Managing relationships and communicating with project stakeholders at all levelsLeading requirements-gathering workshops with business and technology stakeholdersDocumenting product requirements and acceptance criteriaIdentifying, defining and documenting business processesDocumenting data flows and data mapsCreating and maintaining the product backlogDeveloping QA strategies and test casesSupporting QA and UATSkills and Experience:At least 5 years’ experience in a Senior Business Analysis, business-facing roleExperience of working in the Education sectorStakeholder communication up to C-suite levelLeading stakeholder workshopsManaging diverse stakeholder groupsDemonstrable ability to translate complex technical requirements into concepts which are easily understood by non-technical business stakeholdersCRM Systems Analysis and Administration (ideally Salesforce)Customer Success / Customer Advocacy Systems Analysis and Administration (ideally Gainsight)Business requirements gathering and documentationProcess mappingManaging product backlogs using standard tools (ideally Jira)Data managementData mappingData manipulation (e.g.
