Express Employment Professionals is currently seeking experienced MIG Welders for a manufacturing company in Stockton. This is a great opportunity for individuals who take pride in quality workmanship and have experience working in a manufacturing or fabrication environment.
Responsibilities
- Perform MIG welding on a variety of metal components and assemblies
- Fabricate and produce metal forms or components according to specifications
- Repair and reconstruct damaged metal articles and structures as needed
- Use hand tools, fixtures, jigs, and clamps to complete welding projects
- Cut metal using torches while following diagrams, blueprints, and sketches
- Weld and fuse different types of metals and alloys while maintaining structural integrity and minimizing distortion
- Set up, adjust, and regulate welding equipment according to job requirements
- Inspect completed welds and fabricated components to ensure quality and accuracy
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
- Follow all company safety procedures and required PPE guidelines
- Previous MIG welding experience required
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, and sketches
- Familiarity with welding equipment, hand tools, and metal fabrication processes
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
- Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
- Must be open and available to work either 1st or 2nd shift
Pay: $19.00-$21.00/hr DOE
