Job Description The Leasing Consultant is a service-oriented sales representative who presents the features and benefits of living in an HSL apartment community and strives to make current and prospective residents feel welcome and comfortable in their community. Role & Responsibilities The Leasing Consultant is responsible for ongoing resident satisfaction and stellar customer service. They collaborate with prospective residents to identify their needs and match them with ideal apartments. Highlight community features, answer questions, and guide residents to view apartments and amenities. Respond to potential resident interest in person and via digital platforms. Maintain a professional yet friendly atmosphere in the leasing office and other areas. Inspect the community when showing apartments; report maintenance needs. Present new rental offers and existing lease renewals. Address resident issues and manage resident communication. Inspect units before move‑in, move‑out and during vacancy. Stay informed on local market conditions, competitors and trends. Answer and address community‑related questions or concerns as front‑line representative. Prepare background checks, references, rental history, income verification and lease applications. Execute lease terms and handle defaulting residents. Complete additional duties assigned by supervisor. Attend meetings and assist the team in preparing reports, resident communications, move‑out inventory, market surveys, etc. #J-18808-Ljbffr
