Estimator / Senior Estimator - Electrical

Your new companyAn established electrical contractor in the Frederick, MD market is looking to hire an experienced Electrical Estimator to join its growing electrical division.The business operates as part of a long-established, family-owned construction group with multiple specialist construction divisions. The electrical operation delivers commercial and industrial electrical contracting services and works with general contractors, schools and government agencies across the surrounding region.With approximately $10M–$15M in annual electrical revenue, this is a key hire for the division and could suit either an Estimator ready to be developed into a more senior position or someone operating at Lead/Senior Estimator level already.All potential candidates should read through the following details of this job with care before making an application.The roleYou will take ownership of electrical estimating across a diverse pipeline of projects, including: commercial, industrial, government, educational, institutional.Healthcare. Projects typically range from approximately $20K up to $10M, with a combination of competitive bid and negotiated work.You'll be responsible for estimating approximately $50M–$60M worth of opportunities annually, working closely with the division leadership, project management team and field operations.What you'll need to succeedEstimator level — 3+ years of electrical estimating experience OR Senior Estimator level — Ideally, 6+ years of electrical estimating experience for the more senior-level opportunityStrong understanding of electrical construction and estimatingExperience managing bids from initial review through submissionAccubid experience xhyhwjd is a plusComfortable working across both competitive and negotiated opportunitiesSomeone who can take real ownership of the estimating functionWhat you'll get in returnAnnual Base salary - Estimator level: $100K–$130K or Senior level: $130K–$150K+Discretionary annual bonusGas card401(k) match Healthcare, Vision, Dental10 paid holidays5 sick daysAccess to an onsite healthcare nurse two days per weekPotential for 1–2 day hybrid if needed
