Hospitality Coordinator

Job Summary

We are seeking a professional and customer-focused Hospitality Coordinator for a temp-to-hire opportunity in downtown Cleveland, OH. This role supports a polished corporate law office environment and is ideal for candidates with hospitality, restaurant, banquet, catering, or conference services experience who are ready to bring their service skills into a professional office setting.

The Hospitality Coordinator will help ensure meetings, client events, conference rooms, kitchen areas, and common spaces are maintained to a high standard. Key Responsibilities

- Set up and break down conference rooms for meetings, client functions, catered events, and internal office activities.
- Coordinate food and beverage service, including refreshments, catering support, serving, cleanup, and supply replenishment.
- Maintain conference rooms, kitchens, pantries, and common areas to ensure spaces are clean, organized, stocked, and client-ready.
- Manage hospitality inventory by ordering, organizing, and restocking food, beverages, office supplies, and related materials.
- Greet clients and guests professionally while supporting the conference and hospitality calendar.
- Assist with office support duties such as mail distribution, shipping and receiving, copying, reception support, and light office maintenance as needed.

Compensation and Benefits

- Pay Rate: $20.00 per hour.
- Job Type: Temp-to-hire.
- Schedule: Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM.
- Location: Downtown Cleveland, OH 44114.
- Flexibility is required for occasional evening events that may extend until 8:00 PM to 9:00 PM.
- Occasional Saturday or Sunday work may be required for special events.
- Parking is not provided or validated. Employees are responsible for parking expenses or may use public transportation.
- COVID-19 vaccination is not required.

Required Qualifications and Skills

- Coordinate conference room setup, breakdown, and event readiness for meetings and client functions.
- Support food and beverage service, catering coordination, serving, cleanup, and sanitation procedures.
- Manage inventory, restock supplies, and maintain kitchen, pantry, conference, and common areas.
- Provide professional guest service while assisting with general office and clerical support tasks.

- Previous hospitality experience is required.
- 1 to 2 years of related experience is preferred for this level of role.
- Experience in restaurant service, banquet serving, catering, food service, conference room setup, or hospitality management is strongly desired.
- Strong customer service, interpersonal, verbal communication, and written communication skills are required.
- Professional email etiquette and a polished, service-oriented communication style are required.
- Comfortable using Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, and Excel.
- Ability to work independently while maintaining professionalism, accuracy, and attention to detail.
- Strong organization, multitasking, time management, and follow-through skills.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods, with frequent lifting, bending, reaching, and carrying.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. without assistance.
- Must follow business professional dress code requirements and maintain a neat, well-groomed appearance.
- Background screening is required, including employment verification.

Preferred Qualifications

- Hospitality degree or related education is a plus.
- Experience supporting corporate meetings, law office events, executive conference services, or professional client-facing environments is preferred.
- Prior experience managing hospitality calendars, catering orders, pantry supplies, or conference room inventory is helpful.
