Job Responsibilities

• Create Individualized Treatment Plans: Assess patients' needs and craft tailor-made therapy interventions to help them achieve their functional objectives
• Implement Therapeutic Techniques: Apply evidence-based practices designed to improve patients' motor skills, cognitive functions, and everyday activities
• Collaborate with Multidisciplinary Teams: Work hand-in-hand with OTs, PTs, STs, medical professionals, and nursing staff to guarantee holistic and comprehensive care
• Train Patients and Their Families: Provide education to patients and their caregivers on therapy methods for sustaining progress outside of therapy
• Track and Adjust Progress: Monitor clinical outcomes to adapt treatment plans as necessary, ensuring patients remain on their path to recovery

Education

• Completion of an Occupational Therapy degree from an accredited university
• Continuing education or additional certifications appreciated and supported

Certifications

• Valid Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license
• NBCOT certification required
