Shop Laborer – Grow Into Painting & Local Delivery

Deco Manufacturing Co. | Decatur, IL | decomfg.com

Start on the shop floor and grow. This full-time laborer role can lead into painting, delivering to local customers, and more as you prove yourself.

Hours: 6:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m., Monday–Thursday (10-hour shifts)

Day-to-day work

Operate saws, presses, and shears
Grind and prep parts
Help fabricators
Help in the anchor department
Keep the shop moving safely and cleanly

Must-haves

Work safely and keep a positive attitude
Basic knowledge of working safely around shop equipment
Able to read a tape measure and use it accurately — this is required!
Reliable transportation and consistent attendance
Ready to work full time, Monday–Thursday

No welding experience needed. We will train the right person who shows up, measures correctly, and wants to learn.
