Department: PCH-EV JV | Magnetic Resonance Imaging Location: Gilbert Shift: Mon‑Fri, Sat, Sun (Days Vary), Shifts Vary, 6am‑6:30pm Posting #: 1024299 Employee Type: Full‑Time Position Summary This position provides general oversight for the assigned area to ensure daily technical operations achieve and comply with established operating budget, quality control, inventory management and regulatory standards. Position Duties Supervision duties – receives supervision from the Manager, Diagnostic Imaging and assists in overseeing MRI Technologists; provides guidance, mentoring, and direction for staff development. Assigns daily operational activities, monitors quality and workflow effectiveness, troubleshoots issues, and ensures compliance with regulatory and licensing requirements; develops and maintains staff schedule. Maintains professional and technical competency by pursuing continuous learning and staying updated on current trends and technologies to improve outcomes. Participates in hospital and department operational and quality improvement initiatives; evaluates systems and assists in implementing changes to increase effectiveness. Performs diagnostic MRI procedures, quality control testing, and instrument maintenance; archives images according to radiologist specifications. Recommends and implements approved imaging sequencing protocols, policies, and guidelines; validates practice requirements in support of organizational values. Performs miscellaneous job‑related duties as requested. Position Qualifications Education Required: Successful completion of a JRCERT‑approved MRI program or equivalent. Experience Required: Five or more years recent MRI experience. Preferred: Cross‑sectional experience. Preferred: One year pediatric imaging experience. Preferred: One year supervisory experience. Additional Requirements Required: Current BLS certification for Healthcare Provider from the American Heart Association. Required: Current registration in ARRT or ARMRIT in MRI. Preferred: Current Arizona Radiation Regulatory Agency MRTBE license. Physical Requirements & Occupational Exposure/Risk Potential Climbing – occasionally.
