Registered Nurse

This position requires a registered nurse with a minimum of 2 years of experience in the cardiovascular pediatric intensive care unit. Candidates must have cardiac training and experience with pediatric cardiac patients, including heart transplant care. The nurse will be responsible for high-acuity patient care, post-operative cardiac surgical care, and management of congenital heart issues. Successful candidates should have experience with ventilators, multiple monitors, and EKG interpretation. Candidates must also be willing to work weekends and holidays as required. This role involves providing care for neonates, infants, and adolescents. The unit sees a diverse patient population and requires strong skills in hemodynamic monitoring and the administration of medications. The nurse will also assist with procedures and collaborate in an interdisciplinary team. This position may require floating within the facility to meet patient care needs. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential for this role. Candidates should be dedicated to providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment.
