As a Screener in a logistics and distribution location, you will help support a secure environment by screening personnel and visitors, monitoring access points, and reporting security-related concerns. You will provide professional customer service and clear communication while helping to deter incidents. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $17.46 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeWed11:00 PM - 07:00 AMThur11:00 PM - 07:00 AMSun11:00 PM - 07:00 AM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to clients by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access-control policies, package-screening protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities. Screen packages, shipments, and other items entering designated areas in accordance with site procedures; identify and report prohibited, suspicious, damaged, or unauthorized items. Monitor screening equipment and maintain accurate logs, inspection records, and incident documentation as required by site policy. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; promptly communicate concerns to appropriate site contacts and Allied Universal leadership. Conduct regular and random patrols of loading areas, entrances, parking areas, and the facility perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns. Minimum Requirements: A Guard Card or license is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
