Registered Nurse (RN) - MS/TeleWe are seeking a skilled and dedicated Registered Nurse to join our Neuroscience Med/Surg unit. This position is focused on adult and geriatric patients and requires a commitment to providing high-quality care in a fast-paced environment.Shift InformationShift: 18:45 - 07:15 (3x12 Hour Shifts)Weekend Coverage: Every OtherKey ResponsibilitiesProvide comprehensive nursing care to patients with complex medical and surgical needs, including stroke, respiratory failure, and other acute conditions.Administer medications and treatments as per established protocols using the Omnicell medication system.Monitor and assess patient conditions and report significant changes to the healthcare team.Participate in care planning and contribute to the multidisciplinary team approach to patient care.Provide education to patients and families regarding health management and recovery.May be floated to other units based on patient care needs and individual skill set.Patient PopulationAdult and geriatric patientsCommon diagnoses: Stroke/TIA, Seizures, Syncope, Pneumonia, Chest Pain, Dialysis, Acute Kidney Failure, Post Heart Catheterization, Respiratory Failure, Encephalopathy, Congestive Heart Failure (CHF), SepsisQualificationsCurrent active RN license in TennesseeMinimum of 1 year of experience in a nursing role, with at least 1 year of EPIC experience requiredCurrent certifications in ACLS, BLS, and NIHSSSpecial Procedures/Unit DetailsThis unit specializes in providing inpatient care for stroke and TIA patients, as well as managing higher acuity med-surg patients.Focus on patient experience and quality of care.Capability to perform peritoneal dialysis and continuous bladder irrigation.If you are a motivated and compassionate Registered Nurse looking to make a difference in patient lives, we encourage you to apply for this opportunity.
