This position is for an Electrical and Instrumentation (E&I) Technician located in Lima, OH that will support the MPL Great Lakes Area. This position works in and around petroleum products and crude oil facilities executing electrical, and controls & instrumentation duties at multiple area facilities in support of 24/7/365 pipeline operations. The position also provides field support to various other Marathon Pipe Line LLC processes and departments.The successful candidate will perform various duties including: maintenance and repair of medium voltage equipment, calibration and troubleshooting various transmitters and electronic devices, and programming of Programmable Logic Controllers. The candidate should have the ability to troubleshoot problems, work independently as well as in a team environment. All duties will be completed in accordance with all regulations in support of DOT, Environmental, Safety, and Regulatory compliance. Travel, call-outs and overtime will be required on an as-needed basis. The successful candidate will be required to live within 45 minutes of the reporting location in Lima, OH.**Key** **Responsibilities*** Perform work in a safe and environmentally conscious manner in accordance with all Environmental, Safety and Regulatory requirements.* Provide E&I support for assigned assets such as pipelines, remote monitoring facilities, and pump stations.* Installs, inspects, troubleshoots, maintains, repairs, and calibrates wide variety of midstream instrumentation such as, but not limited to, flow meters, transmitters, sensors, analyzers, data loggers, programmable logic controller (PLCs), distributive control system (DCS).* Installs, inspects, troubleshoots, maintains, and repairs electrical equipment such as, but not limited to, motor control centers, generators, transformers, switches, relays, wiring, electrical signal and communication systems, power distribution center (PDCs), uninterrupted power source (UPS).* Configures and programs industrial control systems.
