Registered Nurse Labor and Delivery

This position requires a nurse with experience in Labor and Delivery. Candidates must hold a valid nursing license. BLS and NRP certifications are mandatory, while STABLE, AWHONN, and ACLS will be preferred. The role includes responsibilities in maternal and child services, with experience in high-risk deliveries. The nurse will assist in various procedures including vaginal delivery, cesarean sections, and postpartum care. Participation in holiday rotation is necessary. Candidates should be able to provide breastfeeding and lactation support to new mothers. The nurse will engage in patient education and discharge teaching. Experience with prenatal and newborn assessments is essential. The role may require floating to other units as needed, ensuring flexibility in patient care. This job supports the provision of a safe and welcoming environment for families during labor and delivery.
