Field Service Engineer – Medical Imaging
Job Type: Full-Time
Salary: $175,000–$225,000 annually (DOE)
Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Field Service Engineer with expertise in SPECT and PET/CT medical imaging systems . This role involves installation, maintenance, calibration, troubleshooting, and repair of advanced imaging equipment to ensure optimal system performance and reliability.
Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and service SPECT and PET/CT imaging systems
- Perform preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs
- Complete calibration procedures and equipment testing
- Diagnose technical issues using schematics, manuals, and OEM guidelines
- Maintain accurate service documentation and records
- Support software updates, upgrades, and equipment improvements
- Provide technical support and training to clinical teams
Qualifications
- Experience in medical imaging field service or healthcare technology
- Strong mechanical and technical troubleshooting skills
- Knowledge of SPECT/PET/CT systems preferred
- Ability to read schematics, technical manuals, and electrical diagrams
- Experience with calibration procedures and CMMS systems
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- DME certification is a plus
