This is a part-time opportunity (1 day/week) rounding and providing medical directorship in skilled nursing facilities, with excellent support and training, autonomy, and earning potential. Compensation is fee for service with an estimated compensation range of $107,000 to $116,000 annually and no cap on productivity income potential. Medical directorship roles also include monthly stipends.\n

This educational program is best-in-class and not provided by any other organizations practicing post-acute medicine.\n

Key Responsibilities \n

\n
• Perform comprehensive evaluations of medically complex, high-acuity patients
\n
• Develop, implement, and adjust individualized care plans for patients with chronic critical illness and prolonged recovery
\n
• Manage advanced medical conditions including ventilator-dependent patients, wound care, infectious diseases, and post-ICU recovery needs
\n
• Collaborate closely with physicians, nursing staff, and other healthcare professionals in a team approach
\n
• Educate patients and families regarding disease processes, treatment plans, goals of care, and long-term recovery expectations
\n
• Maintain accurate, timely medical records in compliance with regulations
\n

Qualifications \n

\n
• Current physician license (State of CA) and DEA
\n
• Experience in long-term acute care, inpatient hospital, critical care, or post-acute preferred but not required; new grads welcome to apply
\n
• Strong clinical foundation and knowledge of healthcare regulatory standards
\n
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
\n
• Collaborative, team-oriented approach with a positive outlook
