RN Position at Interim HealthCare- Maine

Interim HealthCare- Maine is seeking a dedicated RN to provide 1:1 nursing care to a student attending The Children's Center for Communication/Beverly School for the Deaf. This role involves supporting the student's overall health and well-being throughout the school day, Monday through Friday from 8am to 2pm, in Beverly, MA. This is a wonderful opportunity to improve the quality of life for a young student.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized nursing care to a student with complex medical needs.
• Monitor and support the student's overall health and well-being during school hours.
• Manage and care for medical devices including G-Tube, J-Tube, and Central Line.
• Implement seizure precautions and respond appropriately to seizures.
• Collaborate with school staff, families, and healthcare providers to ensure continuity of care.

Requirements

• Current and valid RN license.
• Experience working with Deaf and non-verbal individuals.
• Proficiency in managing G-Tube, J-Tube, and Central Line care.
• Knowledge of seizure precautions and emergency response.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
