The Group You will become the tenth BC/BE Maternal Fetal Medicine physician in our growing, state‑of‑the‐art program that includes seven full‑time and two part‑time BC MFM physicians and 3 perinatal NPs. We are part of AdventHealth Medical Group, which employs 900+ physicians in 60+ specialties. Responsibilities Provide expert care in prenatal diagnosis, ultrasound, and MFM consultation in our AIUM‑certified practice. Work with sonographers who actively participate in monthly training and a vigorous quality review program. Tutor medical students and OB/GYN residents; collaborate with medical staff, physicians, and APPs. Coordinate with the Hospital Perinatal Nurse Coordinator and the "Coordinated Care for Kids" program to connect moms‑to‑be with specialists in MFM, OB, neonatology, genetics, and pediatric subspecialties. Host monthly meetings with neonatology and pediatric colleagues; occasionally staff the OB/GYN residency High‑Risk Obstetric Clinic. Experience in fetal echocardiography or CVS is welcomed. Provide 4–5 days per month of MFM inpatient consultative coverage at AdventHealth Orlando Hospital and telemedicine inpatient consultations for the seven local AdventHealth hospitals (over 12,000 deliveries annually). Provide an average of two phone calls per day. Assist in Level IV NICU and Placenta Accreta Program integration; collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across pediatric, pulmonary hypertension, genetics, oncology, intensive care, and transplant medicine. Provide cervical cerclage (ultrasound or exam‑indicated) when indicated. Job Requirements Board‑certified in Maternal‑Fetal Medicine (BC/BE). Experience with fetal echocardiography, CVS, and cervical cerclage is a plus. Ability to deliver consultative inpatient coverage without in‑house delivery responsibilities. Strong communication and teamwork skills; readiness to work with NPs, sonographers, residents, and nursing staff. Commitment to the hospital’s Level IV maternity services and collaborative culture.
