In this pivotal role, you will guide the delivery of complex, high-profile projects ranging from athletic complexes and stadiums to parks, sports and recreation facilities, and community gathering spaces. Working alongside industry-leading designers and technical experts, you'll help shape the future of sports and recreation environments while growing client partnerships, mentoring project teams, and driving excellence from concept through construction.What You'll Do:Lead proposal development and establish project scopes, schedules, and budgets in collaboration with architecture and multidisciplinary design teamsServe as the primary client partner, building trusted relationships and ensuring project goals are achieved from concept through completionDevelop project Work Breakdown Structures (WBS) and direct project planning and coordination efforts across architects, engineers, planners, and specialty consultantsManage project schedules, deliverables, approvals, and quality control processes to support successful project executionOversee project financial performance, including budgeting, forecasting, revenue, and resource managementLead contract administration, consultant coordination, and project documentation throughout all phases of deliveryFacilitate project meetings and provide timely progress updates to clients and internal stakeholdersSupport marketing efforts, help identify new opportunities, and contribute to the growth of CHA’s Sports portfolioWhat You Bring:Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture, Engineering, Science, Planning, Engineering Management, or related field requiredMinimum of 9 years of building design, construction, or construction management experience required, including 6 years of project management experience Ability to manage multi-disciplinary teams and construction administrationDemonstrated experience managing client relationships, understanding contract requirements, and overseeing multiple concurrent projectsProven experience preparing proposals, project plans, extra work authorizations, and project closeout documents requiredExperience managing project accounting processes—including forecasting, budgeting, revenue, and cash flow—required Experience with Microsoft Office Suite required; knowledge of MS Project or Deltek VantagePoint preferredRevit and/or AutoCAD experience preferredAn articulate and persuasive communicator, both one-on-one and in front of large groupsAbility to travel as needed requiredPMP certification, PE (Professional Engineer) license, or RA (Registered Architect) license preferredConsulting and/or construction management industry experience highly preferredWhy You'll Love It Here:Take ownership of transformative projects that elevate communities and create memorable experiences through sports, recreation, and public spacesExpand your influence beyond project management by building client partnerships, pursuing new opportunities, and helping shape the future growth of CHA's Sports practiceCollaborate with talented architects, engineers, and planners in a culture that values leadership, innovation, and professional growthCurious about the impactful work our Sports team is doing?
