Warehouse Forklift Operator/ Cold Storage- 1st Shift

Job Description

Warehouse Personnel
Position Description: This First shift cold storage warehouse forklift driver will organize and store product to meet customer specifications in compliance with company policy, GMPs and Safety.
Responsibilities include but not limited to:
Load and unload trucks and railcars per bill of ladings
Receive, count, and verify incoming and outgoing shipments
Verification of required receiving/shipped paperwork
Organize and store product
Operate all warehouse equipment in safe manner
Communicate safety issues to manager/supervisor
Stage customer orders in organized manner on shipping dock
Maintain organized, safe, and clean working environment
Adhere to Good Manufacturing Practices, Policies and Procedures outlined in the Food Program
Ability to maintain positive relationships with team members
Required Education, Experience, and Skills:
High school diploma or GED
Ability to read shipping and receiving records/reports
Dependable attendance
Hard worker
Team player
Preferred Education, Experience, and Skills:
Basic understanding of shipping and receiving processes and related equipment
Fork lift experience.
