The role involves providing and coordinating training and programs at the facility, ensuring that state, federal, and facility standards are met, and upgrading staff skills. Job Responsibilities Assists in planning, designing, and implementing specialized training to be used toward advanced training for employees in the form of workshops, seminars, and/or coursework. Assesses, in cooperation with other staff, the training needs of staff at all levels within the facility. Prepares written reports and provides testing of employees enrolled in courses. Ensures that required staff training opportunities are scheduled as needed/required. Provides training and coordination of training for all staff. Identifies, recommends, and prioritizes training needs for staff in addition to required training. Education & Experience BA/BS degree in Human Services area or an Associate of Arts degree and three years of experience in Human Services or equivalent to three years’ experience working in IDD.
