Know Diesel?

WE'VE GOT A BAY WITH YOUR NAME ON IT.

Maybe you just graduated from diesel school and you're ready to turn that training into a career.

Maybe you've already spent years in the shop and can diagnose a problem before some techs have even found the right socket.

Either way — we want to talk.

NETC Fleet Services is growing our Exeter, NH operation, and we're hiring Diesel Technicians across multiple experience levels — from apprentices and recent trade-school graduates to experienced mechanics.

You'll work on the equipment that keeps our operation moving:

  • Tow Trucks
  • Heavy-Duty Wreckers
  • Recovery Vehicles
  • Commercial Trucks
  • Gas & Diesel-Powered Fleet Vehicles

This isn't a shop where you'll spend every day doing the same basic service.

You'll diagnose. Repair. Learn. Improve.

And get paid to become better at your craft.

Your Skills Should Move Your Paycheck.

$20–$40/Hour Based on experience and skill level

And that's not where the earning opportunity stops.

Efficiency Incentive Available

Performance-Based Earning Opportunity

Potential Earnings Up to $120,000 Per Year

The more capable and efficient you become, the more value you bring to the shop — and we want your compensation to have room to grow with you.

BUILD YOUR SKILLS → INCREASE YOUR VALUE → GROW YOUR CAREER

Just Finished Diesel School?

Now it's time to build the experience that turns training into a real diesel career.

We welcome applications from recent graduates of diesel and automotive trade-school programs.

You'll have the opportunity to work around experienced technicians while developing your skills on real commercial equipment.

  • Preventive Maintenance

What You'll Work On

This is real fleet repair — from routine service to advanced diagnostics and major component work.

Diagnose diesel and commercial vehicles using modern diagnostic equipment and software

Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, engine, and drivability issues

Repair and replace components including engines, transmissions, steering systems, and braking systems

Diagnose, service, and repair air brake systems

Develop repair plans after identifying the root cause of the problem

Perform preventive maintenance and routine services

Complete oil changes, brake inspections, wheel and tire service, alignments, and general maintenance

Maintain accurate records of repairs, inspections, parts, and serviced vehicles

Communicate clearly with technicians, service staff, and customers when needed

Keep your bay, tools, and work areas clean, organized, and safe

Take ownership of your work from diagnosis through completed repair

We Don't Want Parts Changers.

We Want Problem Solvers.

The warning light is the beginning of the conversation.

Not the answer.

A strong technician asks:

  • What failed?
  • Why did it fail?
  • What else should I check?
  • How do I fix it RIGHT?

That diagnostic mindset matters here.

You'll use scan tools, diagnostic software, technical information, electrical testing, mechanical knowledge, and good old-fashioned experience to find the actual problem — not just throw parts at it.

What We're Looking For

We're hiring across experience levels, so what you bring may look different depending on where you are in your career.

The foundation:

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Diesel, automotive, or related mechanical training and/or hands-on experience
  • Understanding of gas and diesel engine systems
  • Familiarity with vehicle electrical and mechanical systems
  • Ability — or willingness to learn — to use diesel diagnostic software and scan tools
  • Comfortable working with mechanical and electrical tools
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving ability
  • Attention to detail and accurate documentation
  • Basic computer skills
  • Strong communication and teamwork
  • Valid driver's license
  • A willingness to keep learning and getting better
Experienced Diesel Tech?

Bring What You Know.

If you already have strong experience with:

  • Diesel Engine Diagnostics
  • Heavy-Duty & Commercial Vehicles
  • Air Brake Systems
  • Electrical Troubleshooting
  • Computer-Aided Diagnostics
  • Engine & Transmission Repair
  • Steering & Suspension Systems

Experience matters.

And our pay range gives us room to recognize it.
