Project Manager

Summary Assist in managing the project in a cost effective manner by establishing and applying sound management policies pertaining to the organization, customer relations, planning, cost control, and work flow. Responsible for assisting in recruitment, training, management, and supervision of all personnel assigned at the contract site. Responsible for insuring that work is performed to specifications of the contract. Responsible for maintaining equipment and supplies. Maintains reports and records as required. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Assist the PM in overall management of contractor responsible functions and the Statement of Work. Assume the role of Project Manager in his/her absence. Manage the project in a cost efficient and effective manner. Supervise and train assigned individuals in all phases of Food Service operations. Schedule all personnel and work to ensure contract requirements are met. Ensure the project maintains quality standards. Responsible for equipment and supplies (proper usage, maintenance, storage, replacement). Maintain and generate necessary records required by the contract as well as those required by Goodwill Industries. Represent Goodwill Industries in meetings with Government personnel. Maintain a safe and orderly work environment. Responsible for performance of safety drills and keeping the work site within OSHA and food service standards.
