Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) - Long Term Care

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Variable shifts will be based on census and facility need.

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to work in a Long Term Care facility. The ideal candidate will perform a variety of essential tasks aimed at providing quality care to residents.

Responsibilities

• Conduct assessments and perform treatments as directed.
• Administer medications and monitor patient responses.
• Notify the MD/NP of any pertinent information regarding patients.
• Assist with admitting and discharging patients.
• Provide assistance with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs).
• Care for gastrostomy tubes and urinary catheters.
• Administer nebulized treatments and manage wound vac care.
• Provide CPAP care and perform other assigned duties as necessary.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Valid LPN license.
• Experience working in a Long Term Care setting.
• Proof of flu vaccination or a facility-approved application for medical or religious exception.
