Equine Care Specialist - Weekends

$16 per hour

The Humane Society of Missouri's Longmeadow Rescue Ranch in Union, MO, is looking for a Weekend Equine Care Specialist to help care for rescued horses and farm animals on Saturdays and Sundays. If you have a passion for animal welfare and enjoy working outdoors, we'd love to have you on our team!

Key Responsibilities:

Feeding and providing water to animals
Turning out horses into pastures
Cleaning stalls and living areas
Welcoming visitors and volunteers with a positive, friendly attitude
Safely operating tractors and other equipment as needed
Ensuring proper care for all animals, following feeding, sanitation, and medical procedures

Requirements:

Must be 18 years or older
Previous experience handling horses
Must have a valid driver's license.
