Compliance Subject Matter Expert

Responsibilities:- Working with clients (ISSOs and CISO) to develop regulatory strategies and plans for federal agency- Crafting, authoring, and editing regulatory submissions- Working with an internal project team and client to meet regulatory deadlines, respond to issues, and assure integrity of submissions- Compliance SME & Regulated product analysis- Determines enterprise information assurance and security standards- Develops and implements information assurance/security standards and procedures- Coordinates, develops, and evaluates security programs for an organization; Recommends information assurance/security solutions to support customers’ requirements- Identifies, reports, and resolves security violations- Establishes and satisfies information assurance and security requirements based upon the analysis of user, policy, regulatory, and resource and demands- Performs vulnerability/risk analyses of computer systems and applications during all phases of the system development life cycle- Attends and participates within the Change Control Board/Change Approval Board (CCB/CAB) meetings as needed- Authors SOPs as needed or directed- Responsible to fully document assigned tickets to show all work performed in order to pass SLRs- Responsible to create Normal Change Requests as related to complianceQualifications:- US citizenship is required- BS/BA in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business, Physical Science, or other technology plus 6 years of relevant work experience. Education Substitution: For each year of degree required, 2 years of experience may be substituted.- Strong understanding and demonstrated experience applying a risk-based approach to information security and IT assessments- Ability to work in a fast-paced, demanding environment- Excellent organizational skills and strong attention to detail- Ability to prioritize duties based on shifting demands- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills- Excellent verbal and written communication skills- CISSP certification a plusPosting Date:Department: -
