Answering phone calls and managing the lobby, front desk area and Conference room. This includes assurance that all visitors sign in and sign our visitor policy. Providing customer service via phone and email. Acknowledge PO’s and maintain a log of all the POs received. Confirm all the POs with Main Office in MI, make sure all the POs received are processed. Create Bill of Ladings/Sales orders accurately with proper shipping instructions (Prepaid, collect or Third-Party Billing) Item Quantity, Item number, pack sizes and print them by the end of the day so production can be planned. Print Back Order BOLs in the morning from previous days shipments. Maintain accurate Shipping/Consignee instructions on the BOLs/Sales Orders. Verify all the outbound shipments to ensure item and quantity accuracy, one day prior to shipments leaving dock. Assist in any shipping activity (arranging carriers etc.,), if needed. Verify BOLs and COAs (Lots, quantity, piece count are a match and correct) from the previous day’s shipping log for accuracy before emailing them to the customers and notify Accounting of any changes to the shipments.
Ensure all the FedEx shipments are done properly and added to the shipping board and make sure they are entered on the shipping log. Assist in the Quality Control lab with printing product labels, samples, packaging, documentation, and any other activity when needed.
